Jeffrey Deslandes is a seven-time cancer survivor, the Living pioneer of vaccine therapy and the author of "From Cancer Good Things Grow". After his cancer had returned for the fourth time in 2006, he was suggested by his specialist an autologous stem cell transplant or allogeneic stem cell transplant. He decided not to take the recommendation of his highly trained lymphoma specialist. He decided that he would need to take charge of his treatment and find something with a different attack mode. Through his association with Lymphoma Australia, he became aware of vaccines for cancer treatment which highly qualified haematologists and scientists were carrying out. His diseased lymph node and immature dendritic cells were processed in the laboratory to manufacture a dendritic cell idiotype vaccine to fight cancer. The laboratory grew the vaccine formulation to make 33 doses of vaccine. The message was, "this is what cancer looks like, now do your job like you are supposed to, and go seek and destroy".
