Denise Patmarie Reddy is a 56-year-old cancer warrior. In 2019 August, she started having flu symptoms, and it continued for almost two months. The symptoms started getting worse. She went to consult a doctor, and they prescribed her some antibiotics. There was no relief from the symptoms, and soon she noticed a lump on her Breast. She consulted the doctor, and he asked her to undergo a biopsy. She was diagnosed with Breast cancer. Once she learned about the cancer journey, she drove to Cancer Association, Indonesia. They explained to her the whole process in detail. She came back home and cried a lot. She underwent a double mastectomy, chemotherapy, and six cycles of radiation therapy as a part of the treatment. She says the process after the cancer journey is the toughest as it's tough to come back to your everyday life after the diagnosis.
