Ashley Kelly is a Breast Cancer patient. She was diagnosed with cancer when she was 19 months pregnant in 2021. During her Gynaecology visit, She informed the concern, and on further tests, she was diagnosed with Invasive Mucinous Triple Positive Breast Cancer. Her pregnancy was not terminated. She underwent four cycles of chemotherapy while she was pregnant. After her delivery, she again had chemotherapy with a total of sixteen cycles. She will then undergo a Double mastectomy with Breast reconstruction and maybe radiation therapy. She says," Do not think of Cancer as the end of life. It's just the beginning of another beautiful journey." Her husband went into a depression while helping her with her journey. He recovered and started a support group for cancer caregivers called the " Welding Warrior Project". Ashley also has an Instagram page, "@smashcancer", where she shares her cancer journey.
