Himanshu Jain is a Cancer caregiver to his mother, diagnosed with Brain Cancer in 1996. Himanshu was just 21 years old, and he could not even comprehend what was happening. She underwent surgery and radiation therapy as a part of the treatment. She also had a stroke during that time which left her completely bedridden. It was a very depressing moment for the whole family. Surprisingly, she came out of the paralysis after two years, but she lost her entire memory. She could convey her basic needs, and other than that, she could not memorize anything. she is happily living with her family right now, and Himanshu likes to give all the credit to his late father. He says, "My mother's journey was not extraordinary, but her discipline and dedication kept her moving."
